Admittedly, Erica Stewart could never really fully make the transition from soccer player to coach.
A standout for Cranford High School and later Villanova University, the 25-year-old Cranford native had been an assistant coach for the Rutgers University women's soccer team for the past three years. That is until recently when Denise Reddy, the first-year head coach of Jersey Sky Blue of W-League, the highest-level women's soccer league in North America, asked her to be part of her team.
